What’s In A Colonized Spawn Bag?
Each spawn bag holds 3 pounds of premium Millet grains. Our meticulous process begins with thoroughly cleaning the grains, followed by soaking them for 16-24 hours. They’re then boiled to ensure perfect hydration, drained, and air-dried on racks. After drying, the grains are portioned into 3-pound bags, pressure sterilized, sealed with care, inoculated with mycelium liquid culture, and when ready, shipped straight to you.
To maintain the highest standards of sterility, we carefully monitor bag temperatures throughout the entire process, ensuring that our sterilization temperatures are consistently achieved. We keep a control bag from each batch to verify proper sterilization and adherence to our quality control standards.
